#20 Hawkeyes kick the bumbling #19 Gophers 40-22 to capture Floyd of Rosedale.

Nate Kaeding hits 4 FGs, including a 55-yarder to cap a 20-6 1st half for Iowa, and the Hawkeyes benefit from 4 fumbles and 1 INT committed by Minnesota. The Gophers lead 6-3 after Rhys Lloyd's 2nd FG of the 1st quarter, but nothing goes Minnesota's way again until the 4th quarter. Iowa puts up 37 straight points to win going away.

Nathan Chandler puts the Hawkeyes ahead with a 2-yard TD run in the 2nd quarter. Jermelle Lewis adds a 34-yard TD run before Kaeding kicks Iowa out to a 26-6 lead with 3 FGs. Chandler adds a 6-yard TD pass to Ramon Ochoa late in the 3rd quarter. Ochoa catches 8 passes for 92 yards, while Chandler throws for 210 yards.

Asad Abdil-Khaliq throws for 388 yards in defeat for Minnesota, and Aaron Hosack catches 9 for 124 yards, and Jared Ellerson has 10 catches for 159 yards. But star runner Laurence Maroney manages just 69 yards on 24 carries.
